Politics over people’s interests?

Antelope Valley Press (Sunday) - - Opinion -

The solution to prevent government shutdowns is to bring back congressional pork barrel project funding. I can think of four things that Congresswoman Katie Hill would have to vote for in exchange for voting for the Wall.

Funds to open up Palmdale Airport, Fix Bottlenecks on 14 Freeway, Faster Metrolink too LA and a HUD COC for AV. I agree with President Trump, “Pork is Good to move us forward.” It prevents radical politics and it does help local economies.

I asked Palmdale and Lancaster City’s to support and pass a resolution to support the wall, Daca and have inner city youth from cities like Chicago offered the first jobs to build the wall. Give them the opportunity to escape violence and poverty and learn a life-long trade. We have a skilled construction worker crisis in America. I believe Ronald Reagan once said, “Give a man a job and you will solve a lot of social problems.”
