Make them accountable

Antelope Valley Press (Sunday) - - Opinion -

Another child, Baby Noah Cuatro, has died on DCFS’s watch.

On May 21, 2019 the state issued an audit report titled, 2018-126 (Google & read this short report & be outraged), that blames DCFS supervision for:

“Not Adequately Ensured the Health & Safety of Children in Its Care”

This should have been our red flag! There seems to be a failure of supervision and responsibility from top down in the Palmdale DCFS office in particular and DCFS as whole.

From the Palmdale office manager, Laura Shotzbarger, to the assistant regional manager who must sign off on all removals, to line supervisor who failed to execute the court ordered removal issued in May (long before Baby Noah Cuatro allegedly drown).

It appears no supervisor took responsible to act on behalf of the health and safely of Baby Noah.

Be responsible, Supervisor Kathryn Barger, and hold those in supervision responsible in DCFS for Baby Noah Cuatro death accountable.
