LAN­CASTER — So far, so good for UAV men’s bas­ket­ball.

The two-time de­fend­ing Cal­i­for­nia Pa­cific Con­fer­ence cham­pi­ons dis­patched Bethesda Univer­sity of Cal­i­for­nia 8659 at the Pioneer Event Cen­ter Satur­day night.

Kane Kell and Ka­mal Holden led a bal­anced scor­ing at­tack with 13 points each as Univer­sity of An­te­lope Val­ley im­proved to 3-0 un­der new head coach Jor­dan Mast.

Mast moves up to take over the pro­gram af­ter two sea­sons as the top as­sis­tant to for­mer head coach Dar­win Cook.

The tran­si­tion has been seam­less thus far.

On Fri­day night, UAV de­feated Warner Pa­cific Univer­sity 83-64 at the PEC.

In the sea­son opener last week, the Pi­o­neers had no prob­lems with San Diego Chris­tian Col­lege, 95-67.
