The Antelope Valley Board of Directors, staff and hundreds of volunteers are honored to have once again been voted Antelope Valley’s Best Local Annual Event and Family Attraction by the AV Press readers.

The 2019 theme “Sweet Delights and Carnival Lights” describes the essence of this iconic 10-day event. For the past 81 years, fairgoers have come out to participate and enjoy all things Fair including, the food, a carnival and spectacular entertainment.

This year, thousands of exhibits will be on display ranging from livestock, crafts, baked goods, photography, art collection and more. Residents who have a passion for animals, home arts, farming and gardening are encouraged to enter an exhibit in this event.

“It is a privilege to be recognized as the Best Local Event for the 12th consecutive year,” Antelope Valley Fair Association Board President Drew Mercy said. “This community comes together year after year to host the best regional Fair experience around. I personally want to thank the hundreds of volunteers, our sponsors and fairgoers who together create lifetime memories, as we celebrate our history and people of the Antelope Valley”.
