Dr. Lynn McEwan is a repeat winner of AV’s Best Veterinarian and has served the pets of the Antelope Valley for 35 years at Palmdale Veterinary Hospital as its medical director.
For over 20 years his full-service hospital has been distinguished by its accreditation by the American Animal Hospital Association.
“We are proud to have achieved and maintained the most exacting standards of veterinary practice can adhere to as the standard of veterinary excellence”, he said.
Accreditation by AAHA means that an animal hospital has been evaluated on approximately 900 standards of veterinary excellence. Relatively few animal hospitals achieve this distinguished status.
He provides the best possible medical, surgical and dental care for all of the Antelope Valley’s dogs, cats, birds, pocket pets and other domesticated creatures. In addition to basic and advanced care for dogs and cats, Dr. McEwan is the AV’s only member of the Association of Avian Veterinarians. He has had advanced training, which he received as a veterinary officer in the U.S. Army, following graduation with honors from the number one veterinary school in the world — UC-Davis School of Veterinary medicine, in pocket pets and other exotic animals.
“We are committed to promoting responsible pet ownership, preventative health care and animal health-related educational opportunities for our clients,” said McEwan, who holds his staff to a higher standard.
New clients can tell the difference.
“Pets are our passion,” he said. And keeping them healthy is our number one priority. At Palmdale Veterinary Hospital, we strive to deliver excellent care for pets, because your pets deserve nothing less. We are caring people, caring for pets. We treat each pet as if it were our own!”
