No. 13 Dayton 78, Saint Louis 76

ST. LOUIS — Jalen Crutcher hit a 3-pointer at the buzzer in overtime and finished with 21 points, lifting Dayton to the come-from-behind win over Saint Louis.

Obi Toppin added 20 points for Dayton (16-2, 5-0 Atlantic 10). Ibi Watson scored 17 and Trey Landers 14.

Dayton rallied from a 12-point deficit midway through the second half to win its seventh straight game.

No. 15 Michigan State 67, Wisconsin 55

EAST LANSING, Mich. — Cassius Winston had six points and four assists and became the Big Ten career assists leader as No. 15 Michigan State beat Wisconsin 67-55 Friday night.

The Badgers (11-7, 4-3 Big Ten) trailed the entire game, but went on a 13-0 run with Nate Reuvers scoring 11 points to cut their deficit to six points early in the second half.

Michigan State (14-4, 6-1 Big Ten) pulled away with balanced scoring and stingy defense, building a 63-39 lead.

Iowa 90, No. 19 Michigan 83

IOWA CITY, Iowa — Luka Garza scored 33 points and four Iowa players scored in double figures as the Hawkeyes beat Michigan.

CJ Fredrick had 21 points, Joe Wieskamp 20, and Ryan Kriener came off the bench to score 14 for the Hawkeyes.

Iowa (13-5, 4-3 Big Ten), which led by as many as 11 points in the first half, trailed 74-68 with 7:44 to play before going on a 10-0 run that included seven points by Garza.

Eli Brooks broke out of a shooting slump to lead Michigan (11-6, 2-4) with 25 points.

Franz Wagner scored 18 points, Jon Teske had 14 points and David DeJulius 10 for Michigan.

Women No. 8 Oregon State 81, California 44

CORVALLIS, Ore. — Destiny Slocum had 15 points and 11 assists and No. 8 Oregon State rebounded from its first loss of the season with a victory over California.

Patricia Morris gave Oregon State (16-1, 4-1 Pac-12) a lift off the bench with a career-high 13 points. She was 6 for 6 from the field.

Oregon State was playing for the first time since losing 55-47 to Arizona State on Sunday in Tempe.

No. 14 DePaul 91, Xavier 68

CINCINNATI — Chante Stonewall scored 22 points, Lexi Held added 19 and DePaul eased past Xavier.

The Blue Demons (16-2, 6-0 Big East) built a 47-33 advantage by halftime and maintained a doubledigi­t lead through the second half.

Deja Church had 16 points and Sonya Morris scored 11 for DePaul, which won its seventh straight.

No. 18 Arizona State 67, Washington 50

SEATTLE — Ja’Tavia Tapley scored 15 points, 10 players scored and No. 18 Arizona State defeated Washington.

Jamie Ruden added 10 points for the Sun Devils (14-4, 4-2 Pac-12), who won a fourth-straight game. Reili Richardson added nine points and Robbi Rayn eight with four assists.

Washington (10-6, 2-3) leads the Pac-12 in forced turnovers and steals per game, but it was Arizona State’s opportunis­tic defense on display Friday, forcing 18 Huskies turnovers and turning those into 20 points.

Southern Illinois 70, No. 19 Missouri State 68

CARBONDALE, Ill. — Gabby Walker took a bounce pass at the baseline and scored a left-handed layup as the clock was winding down, leading Southern Illinois to a victory over No. 19 Missouri State.

Southern Illinois had not beaten a Top 25 team since 1991. The loss ended Missouri State’s five-game win streak, and also ended the Bears’ school record 13-game Missouri Valley Conference road winning streak.

Kristen Nelson led the Salukis (10-6, 2-3) with 14 points and three steals, Brittney Patrick and Nicole Martin added 12 points each. Patrick also had five assists and eight rebounds. Patrick threaded the bounce pass to Walker for the winner.

No. 21 Arizona 74, Washington State 67

PULLMAN, Wash. — Cate Reese scored 26 points on Friday night and No. 21 Arizona never trailed after the first quarter in a 74-67 win over Washington State.

Reese made all 11 of her free throws and the Wildcats (14-3, 3-3 Pac-12) made 21 of 22 from the foul line. Aari McDonald added 19 points and eight rebounds.

Arizona scored the first nine points of the third quarter and added a 7-0 run later in the period to pull away.
