An­te­lope Val­ley Se­nior Ser­vices and the Santa Clarita Val­ley Com­mit­tee on Ag­ing offer meals to se­nior ci­ti­zens 60 and older for $3.50 (at the nu­tri­tion sites and for home-de­liv­ered meals) at th­ese lo­ca­tions:

An­te­lope Val­ley Se­nior Cen­ter, 777 West Jack­man St., Lan­caster.

Legacy Com­mons for Ac­tive Se­niors, 930 East Ave. Q-9, Palmdale.

Jackie Robin­son Park, 8773 East Ave. R, Sun Vil­lage.

Stephen Sorensen Park, 16801 East Ave. P, Lake Los An­ge­les.

Reser­va­tions are re­quired for nu­tri­tion sites ex­cept the An­te­lope Val­ley Se­nior Cen­ter. To make reser­va­tions, at­tend the sites to sign up for the se­nior meal pro­gram. Doors open for re­served clients at 10 a.m. at the Se­nior Cen­ter and Legacy Com­mons, and 10:30 a.m. at Jackie Robin­son Park and Sorensen Park.

A 24-hour ad­vance signup is re­quired for site man­agers to re­serve a meal in your name at all sites ex­cept the Se­nior Cen­ter.

Meals are served from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Mon­day through Fri­day at the Lan­caster site, 10 a.m. to noon at Palmdale, and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Jackie Robin­son and Sorensen parks. Cof­fee is avail­able at all sites for free.

Home-de­liv­ered meals are avail­able to se­niors who are high-risk and con­fined to their homes. You must be home to re­ceive the meal from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. For de­tails, call 661-948-2320.

Broc­coli beef — beef mar­i­nated and stir-fried with gar­lic, gin­ger and low-sodium soy sauce over broc­coli flo­rets.

WED­NES­DAY, JAN­UARY 22

Lemon herb fish — aro­matic lemon herb sauce served over an oven­roasted pan­ga­sius.

THURS­DAY, JAN­UARY 23

Shred­ded pork with gravy over jacket potato.

FRI­DAY, JAN­UARY 24

Chicken pesto salad — toasted sweet greens topped with a sa­vory pesto-fla­vored sliced chicken breast.

MON­DAY, JAN­UARY 27

Frit­tata de Cielo — oven­baked dish with egg, gar­den veg­eta­bles and pork, topped with a mari­nara sauce.

TUES­DAY, JAN­UARY 28

Cit­rus cod — sa­vory or­ange sauce served over roasted cod.

WED­NES­DAY, JAN­UARY 29

Chicken molé — bal­ance of choco­late, or­ange and spices over oven-roasted chicken.

THURS­DAY, JAN­UARY 30

Pasta bolog­nese — Ital­ian noo­dles topped with slow-sim­mered sauce and el­e­gantly sea­soned ground beef.

FRI­DAY, JAN­UARY 31

Lat­vian pork stroganoff — diced pork slowsim­mered in creamy white stroganoff gravy.

MON­DAY, FE­BRU­ARY 3

Beef Bour­guignon — diced beef sim­mered in an el­e­gantly fla­vored French Bour­guignon sauce.
