The truck is hers to drive during her reign. This is the seventh year that HW Hunter has presented a Ram truck to Miss Rodeo California. This year it is Morgan Laughlin, who recently represented the Livermore Rodeo. She is also being presented a two-horse trailer, sponsored by Golden West Trailers from Acton.
“I am excited for this upcoming year representing our great state of California,” Laughlin said. “Coming from a six-generation rodeo family, the sport of rodeo has been a part of my life from a very young age.”
Once she has completed her year as Miss Rodeo California, she will head to Las Vegas to compete in the Miss Rodeo America pageant.
“We are proud to sponsor the Miss Rodeo California program,” Hunter Co-Owner Tom Fuller said. “These ladies work very hard throughout the year and we are happy to provide safe and dependable transportation for both them and their horse as they travel to the different rodeos throughout California.”
The Miss Rodeo California pageant is hosted in Lancaster during the PRCA California Circuit Finals Rodeo in October.
