For the past 28 years this little family owned Mexican restaurant has been operating and still going strong, today! They say on the menu,” Satisfy Your Hunger With Our Tasty Speedy Delights” and indeed I did. Speedy Joe’s wet burrito is enormous. It was easily three meals for me, and I can attest—sinfully delicious. It was packed with a flavorful filling of shredded beef and refried beans, wrapped up and smothered with a mountain of melted cheese and surrounded with an excellent red sauce. I will file this this away in my Mexican food craving arsenal. Now open for dine-in and take-out, the offerings are substantial and they cover the gamut of Mexican, American and plenty of seafood. Burritos; fajitas; one, two & three item combinations; appetizers; specialty dishes like chile Colorado, enchilada suizas— one of my favorites as I just love that green sauce, zarapes and plenty more. Draft, domestic and imported beer plus wine, wine margaritas and traditional Mexican drinks adorn the menu as well. Children’s plates and dessert—deep-fried ice cream or the most delicious, fresh and creamy flan which is what I enjoyed. Open Wednesday-Monday 11AM-7:30PM and closed Tuesday.
