Sareena is a one-year, one-month-old tan spayed German shepherd. She came as a stray at the Palmdale Animal Care Center. She has shown friendly demeanor toward people allowing her handler to pet her as she seeks their attention. Sareena has a gentle and dainty play style, friendly and tolerant with other dogs. She is easy to leash and knows how to walk on leash as well. Sareena loves to be around other dogs. She loves to watch them romp around but does not really get into rowdy play. Sareena will fit well in a home with middle school-aged children and would pair best with calm dogs. Meeko is a two-year-old gray male domestic shorthair. He came into the Lancaster Animal Care Center as a stray with a couple of puncture wounds. He has since been patched up. In kennel, when handlers call him, he meows and rolls over on his back, stretching out and bringing his front paws to his chest in a submissive and playful manner. Sunny is a two-year-old spayed white Siberian husky. She came to the Palmdale Animal Care Center as a stray. Sunny has shown to be more of a people dog. She enjoys attention and loves to be around her handlers. She is easy to leash and walks well on leash. During her play time at the yard, she didn’t show much interest in playing with other dogs. She preferred to be left alone and was selective with her interaction with other dogs. She is tolerant of being around them but not too interested in playing with all of them. She could very well benefit if sent to a behavior training. Sunny will do very well in a home with middle schoolaged children and is required to be the only dog in the home. Gabriel is a two-year-old fawn neutered male pit bull that came to the Lancaster Animal Care Center as a stray. He is a very sweet, gentle boy that is easy to leash and walk. When he entered the play yard, he walked in calmly and began to explore and bypassed the other dogs in the yard. He engaged in soft play with the playful friendly dogs. He is soft, calm and friendly. Middle school children and over are recommended for his new home, and large calm dogs are OK. Sky is a one-and-a-half-year-old tan spayed female Alaskan husky mix. Sky was adopted from the Lancaster Animal Care Center as a puppy and was returned because her former owner no longer had time to take care of her. She is a fun loving, high energy girl that loves to play. She happily engaged with all the other dogs in play group and gave excited friendly greetings. Children middle school-aged and over are recommended for her new home, and large playful dogs are required. No calm dogs are recommended.
