Antelope Acres celebrates its royalty

Jade Diaz, 17, the daughter of Emily and Paul Henry and Francisco Diaz and Liane Duke, was crowned Miss Antelope Acres, on Sept. 19, at the Antelope Acres Community Center.

She is a senior at Quartz Hill High School.

Diaz’s hobbies include racing and junior dragsters, and she will soon be in super comp.

Her future plans include focusing on racing and attending College of the Canyons, then transferring to Northern Arizona University to get a degree in criminal justice and psychology.

Tristina Rainone, 14, the daughter of Donald and Suzann Rainone of Antelope Acres, was crowned Junior Miss Antelope Acres, on Sept. 19, at the Antelope Acres Community Center.

She is a sophomore at Learn 4 Life Charter School.

Rainone’s hobbies include performing community service, helping aid the homeless and all aspects of her community.

Her future plans include becoming an educator to instill the love of learning as a lifetime goal, by showing that learning can be fun.

Allanna Behning, 11, the daughter of Erin and Curtis Behning of Antelope Acres, was crowned Young Miss Antelope Acres, on Sept. 19, at the Antelope Acres Community Center.

She is a sixth-grader at Del Sur Elementary.

Behning’s hobbies include 4H, taking care of her animals and ballet.

Her future plans include becoming a veterinarian.

Marianne Grosso, nine, the daughter of Charles and Brenda Gross, of Lancaster, was crowned Little Miss Antelope Acres, on Sept. 19, at the Antelope Acres Community Center.

She is a fourth-grader at Del Sur Elementary.

Grosso’s hobbies include riding her horses, dancing, gymnastics and fundraising for queen events and law enforcement.

Her future plans include becoming a mounted police officer and owning a horse rescue.

Kendal Alice Henry, eight, the daughter of Emily and Paul Henry, of Antelope Acres, was crowned a princess, on Sept. 19, at the Antelope Acres Community Center.

She is a second-grader at Del Sur Elementary.

Henry’s hobbies include riding horses, swimming, spending time with her family and participating in all the queen events that she is part of.

Her future plans include working with children when she gets older.
