CAPTAIN TONY’S PIZZA AND PASTA EMPORIUM
This Friday, November 4th will mark the grand opening of one of Quartz Hill’s long time pizzerias, Captain Tony’s Pizza and Pasta Emporium. As the name suggests, they will be serving up all things pizza and the customary, complementary sides that go along with it.
After a year long closure, Captain Tony’s is under new ownership and is ready to serve the community of Quartz Hill once again. Captain Tony’s is leading the way in pizza franchises with two locations in the Antelope Valley. Their restaurants specialize in take out and delivery, operating quickly and efficiently under minimal space requirements.
Captain Tony’s originated in Rochester New York in 1972 and has continued to successfully franchise over the years. They have now successfully expanded the brand and have brought their crispy traditional style pizza to the Antelope Valley for all to enjoy. Captain Tony’s operates under the “Any way you want it” system, allowing for a customizable pizza, while also offering traditional and specialty pizzas to meet the cravings of any customer.
Captain Tony’s has found new owners in a father/daughter duo. Joe Rodriquez and Erica Segovia will operate the Lancaster and Quartz Hill locations along with their spouses. Joe is no stranger to serving the AV area as he currently owns and operates the Katz n Jammers Café in downtown Lancaster. He hopes to take his restaurant and food industry experience and apply it to this new venture to offer another tasty, affordable and friendly place for the people of the Antelope Valley to dine.
The menu at Captain Tony’s is varied and their aim is to please all customers. The dough is freshly made and hand stretched daily to ensure a delicious golden brown, perfectly cooked crust and the famous Captain Tony’s sauce is made each morning on the premises to offer the freshest pizza experience.
For those looking to complement their pizza, the menu ranges from calzones, pastas, wings, potato wedges, chicken, mozzarella sticks, garlic French bread, hot and cold subs and fresh salads. With all the topping possibilities and baked specialties, there is truly something for everyone. There’s also dessert choices to satisfy your sweet tooth.
Joe and Erica hope to regain those customers who were loyal to the Quartz Hill location during its previous operation.
