One man is arrested after sweep of house
PALMDALE — Palmdale Sheriff’s Station deputies arrested a man on several firearms and narcotics-related charges, Tuesday, after responding to a call of an assault with a deadly weapon and finding numerous guns and narcotics paraphernalia in plain sight, station officials reported.
Deputies responded at about 10:20 p.m., to the 36500 block of Palomino Court, near Barrel Springs Elementary School, for a call of a man being held at gunpoint.
Once there, during a protective sweep of the house, they saw several firearms, along with narcotics and paraphernalia consistent with the manufacturing of cocaine, Sheriff’s Station officials reported.
Detectives were called to the scene and authored a search warrant, which resulted in the seizure of a large amount of cocaine and numerous firearms and ammunition, officials reported.
The suspect’s identity was not available at press time.
