Skye is a three-year-old female German Shepherd that came to the Lancaster Animal Care Center as a stray on Oct. 20. She greeted the runner with a calm demeanor. Skye pulled lightly on leash as they walked to the catch pen. She barked at a female Labrador that came to greet her at the fence. Skye entered the yard and began exploring but was trailed by a female Labrador. Skye was tense but tolerated her presence as she explored. A home with middle school-aged children and no other dogs is recommended.
