Election was most secure in history

-

A recent writer (Sept. 13) uses a discredited and misleading report produced in the Donald Trump White

House to support his claim that Democrats fraudulently stole the 2020 election.

Peter Navarro was assistant to the president and one of the prime architects to subvert and overturn the election when he and aides drafted a report from his office in the White House two weeks before the election detailing the administration’s plan for election fraud as first reported by The Guardian in 2022. (https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2022/ mar/16/trump-white-houseaide-secret-author-dominionreport)

The three-part report came out of the secret White House Dominion report that shamelessly faulted Dominion voting machines for Trump’s loss and was designed to be sent to state legislatures to “pepper” swing states against a Biden win.

Navarro also took part in orchestrating fake Republican electors to cast votes for Trump while at the same time negating real elector votes for Biden.

Navarro was indicted in 2022 on two contempt of Congress counts for ignoring congressional subpoenas for documents and testimony for the January 6 House Select Committee investigating the insurrection. He was convicted on Sept. 5 for both counts. Why would one ignore congressional subpoenas if you are innocent of any charges related to the insurrection?

Furthermore, the writer claims that information found at New York Citizens Audit supports and proves Trump’s repeated hyperbolic statements that the 2020 election was nefarious and systemic of a leftist conspiracy orchestrated by the Democratic Party.

The misinformation found at this audit group has been dispelled with the Ontario County Board of Elections in New York state saying, “All data provided by this group have been debunked by our peers.”

Numerous audits in swing states such as Georgia and Arizona found that Republican initiated allegations of fraud were proven false. The 2020 election was the most secure in American history. Neil McKinlay
