Too entrenched in hypocrisy?

-

It would be courageous to have community meetings to discuss issues from soup to nuts but are not scripted or strong-armed by local politicians who have politically controlled this valley for decades and shaped it according to their personal agendas.

Absent of that, let me say: Earth to Larry Bradley, who opined that “Democrats are not a valid party for the

United States.” At least they don’t wear white sheets, Larry, and burn crosses on front lawns. And if you are quietly affirming Donald Trump, a mega-narcissistic, toxic, race card-playing bully social antagonist who doesn’t realize this is not a monarchy, a Putin dictatorship or George Wallace, David Duke, and the Grand Wizard’s America — well, not totally — then you are not good for the US today or tomorrow.

We have the ability to use our vat of ink and free speech at these critical historical moments to stimulate thought and resolution. Nonsense and poking the bear are not amusing or productive.

Earth to Miguel Rios: Do you believe your letters have brought us closer or been a finger-pointing exercise with an infinitesimal amount of historically based documented truth and sprinkled with speculation? Your regurgitation of a GOP scripted false narrative that helps no one but stifles everyone’s need to talk, listen and seek resolutions. Where is your honesty about the identification of GOP steps that have crippled this nation in the past and even now? Your notoriety is derived from poking the bear and dividing this community by demonizing anyone who doesn’t see life through your own rose colored and thickframed glasses. Oy vey!

Earth to all the Jeannie Stephens types who were offended by the rudeness of young black girls: A Japanese tour group pushed me out of line in Hawaii. And? There is a difference between bullying with no power and having policies in place that systemically cripple nonwhites to solidify the white man’s control of this country. You get your feelings hurt. We get executed or jailed for decades over prosecutorial misconduct.

Earth to those who would rather defy the intellectual truth, accuracy and wisdom of Guy Marsh or Vincent White than have a public conversation: Put down your Legos and realize your protestations about the truth of Trump’s evilness are going to subject all of our descendants to an eventual tsunami of social devastation. God, you can’t even admit that the white supremacist mentality of this nation tried to fuel the annihilate of the Native Americans and now we want to tap their casino earnings. White man speaks with fork tongue then and now. How about a coming together piece or are we too entrenched in hypocrisy? Dr. Diana BeardWilliams Brown Palmdale
