Let’s not mix oranges, apples
The announcement of Vladimir Putin’s orchestrated murder of a well-respected, world-known Russian incarcerated (Russian) activist named Navalny makes a thinking and politically savvy American again wonder why Donald Trump publicly stated that the words of Putin were more valid then a CIA report about our election interference. How can Trump place a halo over his head?
This murder makes us relive the Saudi Arabia crown prince’s orchestrated murder of a Washington Post journalist named Jamal Khashoggi, including the savage dismembering of his body. And even knowing that the crown prince ordered that Khashoggi be threatened, stalked, betrayed and cornered in an embassy not even physically within their country, had a plane load of assassins corner, torture and brutally murder him.
And then the crown prince offers Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump $2 billion when Donald Trump left office and they accepted it. This is the Jared-Ivanka duo who made millions while working in the White House.
That $800 million largess should cause us to pause because it is dwarfed by the $2 billion Saudi gift. And the 15 Chinese patents she amassed during her White House years?
Many Americans are still traumatized by Khashoggi’s death cries on a recording. We are befuddled how our American government is politically timid to address this murder beyond lukewarm criticism/
Most shocking is how the GOP candidate for the 2024 election is Trump, who tells America that Putin is a great man who doesn’t have to lie. He took the words of Putin over our CIA.
How can Trump’s family take that blood money from the crown prince, who issues a death decree against someone who walked away from a kingdom of riches but also of great oppression even of his own family? Maybe some Americans need a brain fog check, for we tell our children they are an example of the company they keep. Trump perhaps not?
It would be refreshing if we could discuss this issue without the GOP throwing Biden spaghetti against a wall to divert attention. Let’s discuss the greatness or flaws of Biden or Trump without mixing oranges and apples.
