Bible is standard for religion

Mr. Hadley wrote about Christianity: “Why Christianity? Why the Bible, and not some other holy book? Why are you a Christian? Why aren’t you a Muslim, or a Hindu? Because that’s the god and the book that was taught to you as a child, right? That’s what you grew up with.”

The Bible has always been the standard. Roman Catholicism says that there is purgatory before you go to heaven. There is another religion that says that Jesus and Satan were brothers. Both are not true. Hinduism believes that when a person dies, they are reincarnated into another person or thing. If true, what would be the purpose of Jesus dying on the cross? I believe Islam states that Jesus was a prophet just like Muhammad. There is nothing mythological about Christianity. Name anybody else in any religion who died and rose from the dead in three days.

The Bible correlates with science: “Astronomy: The Bible claims the universe had a beginning. John 3:16, 17-18 says: “16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.”

Many ministers refuse to talk about hell, but the Bible mentions this. It’s a place of torment 24 hours a day, seven days a week, where you will never get out. No one is coming to rescue you. Later, hell will be thrown into the lake of fire. That is where you will go if you do not accept Jesus into your heart.

If the Bible can be verified by science, why do you think there are still many people who don’t believe that God or Satan exists?
