On the status of Afghan weapons

-

Mr. Jung responded to my ascertaining that the weapons left in Afghanistan are usable. He defends his beliefs from a Defense’s Inspector office report whose first line states, “The condition of these items (weaponry) was unknown,” and later statement reads “likely to deteriorate,” and statement ends stating “US military removed or destroyed nearly all major equipment …”

The first line of this acknowledges weapons were left behind by stating the condition was “unknown”; “likely” to deteriorate tells me until deterioration the weapons are operable. If that is the proof that weapons weren’t left behind, we will just agree to disagree.

Regarding the comment you cited by Lauren Thompson, I just have one question: Are we to believe that US specialists are superior in intelligence to the rest of the world? I’m pretty sure most every country in the world has people just as smart as our specialists. A good example of this equal knowledge is Operation Desert Storm, The MIM-104C Patriot missile was used to intercept the Iraqi Scud missiles and did so successfully. However, it was learned Iraq had the same capabilities and/or technology to intercept our missiles.

On the 42nd and 43rd day of the operation, Saddam Hussein surrendered thanks to a sensor chip (would take too long to describe) that prevented Iraq from intercepting our incoming missiles. The point here is our innovation of the sensor chip was not replicated before use, but to the chagrin of Ms. Thompson, any used weapon can be reproduced along with replacement parts by most countries.

Jealousy, anger and hate are on the list of wasted emotions. It is very difficult with these emotions to use common sense or logic. In today’s world, when we so much want to believe what suits our agenda, it is greatly making this once-great country so weak. I’m curious if the source cited on the “unknown” condition of the weapons had stated, it is likely the 2020 election was rigged would that be considered a fact as it appears the referenced quotes are supposed to be regarding the weapons. Of course not, but we can’t or rather shouldn’t be allowed to have it both ways.

Why wouldn’t somebody just say the weapons were not operable but rather words like “unknown” and “likely” were used and why wait two years, three months and 20 days after the Afghan withdrawal to make these comments? I know what my common sense tells me the answer to why is.

The Board of Supervisors will again have to wait another day as I am at 400 words. Quick farewell question on today’s entry: Should anybody who has armed and financed both sides of the current Israeli conflict be considered to be objective or possibly has an unknown agenda?
