The title of the rapper, singer and songwriter’s first full-length release since last year’s Drip or Drown 2 isn’t as arcane as it may seem on the surface, it being an acronym apparently standing for “Wealthy Unapologetic Nigga Naturally Authentic”. Nonetheless, it does live up to that billing, with the assistance of an impressive assortment of top collaborators.

1. Gunna is the professional name of Sergio Giavanni Kitchens.
2. Despite its title, Drip or Drown 2 – released in February 2019 – was his debut studio album, serving as the sequel to his 2017 EP, Drip or Drown.
3. Gunna was born and raised in College Park, Georgia, and began making music at 15 years of age.
4. He revealed in April that the new album was supposed to have already been released by then, but that the COVID-19 pandemic had interfered with his plans.
