JOANNA MANSFIELD LYNCH GEORGE STEPHEN WHITE
Park Hill Christian Church was the setting at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, April 14, for the marriage of Joanna Mansfield Lynch and George Stephen Jeremy White. Officiating was the Rev. Miles Cook.
The bride is the daughter of Lee and John Lynch of North Little Rock. Her grandparents are Col. William P. Mansfield of Oakland, Ky., and Joyce Mansfield and the late Beth and Russell H. Lynch, all also of North Little Rock.
The groom is the son of Nancy and Steve White of North Little Rock. His grandparents are Mary and the late George E. White of North Little Rock and the late Ann and James H. Jacobi of Fort Smith.
The church doors were decorated with handmade moss W’s in honor of the bride’s new last name. Music was by the father of the bride, who sang while accompanied by guitarist Adam Lynch, brother of the bride.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a strapless dress of white silk-shantung with a sweetheart neckline and an asymmetrical dropped waist. She carried a cascade of fuchsia phalaenopsis orchids.
Whitney Grounds of Little Rock was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Lauren Hamilton of North Little Rock, sister of the groom; Kendall Jones of Marion; Mary Catherine Lewis of Knoxville, Tenn.; Rachael Lynch of North Little Rock; Melissa Mathews of New York; and Rachael Oberste, Erin Ruple, cousin of the bride, and Lauren Strother, all of Little Rock.
They wore plum silk-chiffon sleeveless gowns and carried clutches of white ranunculus, green snowball hydrangeas, white lisianthus, white astilbe and maidenhair fern.
The father of the groom was best man. Groomsmen were Stephen Griffin, Ricky Halbert, Patrick Lewis and Adam Lynch, brother of the bride, all of North Little Rock; Andy Martin and Crow Lord, both of Little Rock; Joseph Nuckols of Fayetteville; and Dalton Smith of Magnolia.
Guests were seated by Peter Aburrow of Dallas, Cris Atkinson of Little Rock, and Patrick Harris and Brian Frazier, both of Fayetteville.
A reception at Pavilion in the Park followed the ceremony. Tables were centered with white hydrangeas in tall cylinder vases and lanterns filled with moss and candles. The buffet held an arrangement of purple hydrangeas, green spider chrysanthemums, purple orchids and curly willow. Music was by the Titanics of Memphis.
The bride has a bachelor’s degree in advertising and public relations from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, where she was a member of Chi Omega. She is a regional sales manager for Tree House Foods.
The groom has a bachelor’s degree in agricultural business from the university and was a member of Sigma Chi. He is a financial adviser at White & Associates Ameriprise Financial.
The couple will make their home in North Little Rock after a wedding trip to Bora Bora, French Polynesia.
