CLAIRE LOUISE MORLEDGE JOHN ANDREW KELLEY
Claire Louise Morledge and John Andrew Kelley were united in marriage at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, April 14, on the lawn of Pratt Place Cottage in Fayetteville. Stephen Brannon of Faith Baptist Church in Memphis officiated.
Parents of the bride are Terry and Mike Morledge, 7 Woodstock Court. Her grandparents are Ila and Al Sass of Fort Smith and the late Betty and George Morledge of Forrest City.
The groom is the son of Pam Brown of El Dorado and the late Robert Kelley. His grandparents are the late Pat and John Kelley of Benton and the late Mable and Buddy Whitright, also of El Dorado.
Given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a strapless fit and flare gown of lace over charmeuse embellished with a beaded soutache floral design. She carried a bouquet of blue hydrangeas and cream roses.
A reception inside and on the lawn and patio of the cottage followed the ceremony. Guest tables were covered with yellow damask table runners and centered with arrangements of blue hydrangeas and cream roses along with hand-cut wine bottles over tea lights.
The bride is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. She received bachelor’s and master’s degrees in communication and was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She is marketing and events manager at Pratt Place Inn and Barn, Fayetteville.
The groom graduated with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from Southern Arkansas University at Magnolia. He will graduate in May with a master’s degree in agricultural economics from UA and an international master’s of rural development from the University of Ghent in Belgium.
The couple will live in Fayetteville after a wedding trip to Costa Rica.
