Rebecca Paige Bland became the bride of Drew Waylon Mims at 5 p.m. Saturday, April 14, at Bonne Terre Home in Seacrest Beach, Fla. Judge Larry D. Vaughn officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Becky and Dickie Bland of West Memphis. She is the granddaughter of Roberta and the late Harry Lesco and Joed and the late Richard Bland, all of West Memphis.
Traci and David Mims of Texarkana, Texas, are the parents of the groom. He is the grandson of the late Nellie Hobbs, the late Jerry Martin, and the late Jessie Mae and C.E. Mims.
The ceremony site was decorated with copper lanterns, pillar candles and arrangements of green hydrangeas, white ranunculus and coral peonies. Readers were Bryan Callaway of Texarkana; Anna Brady, Ellen Brady and John Deacon III, all of Little Rock; and Adam Cole of West Memphis.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a charmeuse gown with a Vneck and back, and an overlay of appliqued lace. She carried white peonies, hydrangeas, ranunculus and hellebores.
Bridesmaids were Julianne Deacon of Gainesville, Fla.; Jennifer White of West Memphis; and Chloe Mims of Texarkana. They wore strapless A-line coral chiffon gowns and carried white hydrangeas and ranunculus and coral peonies.
Groomsmen were Blake Callaway and Matthew Skinner, both of Texarkana, and Ross Bland of Memphis. Guests were seated by Connor Truitt of Memphis.
A reception at the house followed the ceremony. Arrangements of green hydrangeas, white ranunculus and coral peonies decorated tables. Music was by the Fountain City Players of Montgomery, Ala. Assisting was Callan Truitt of Memphis.
The bride attended the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, where she was a member of Delta Delta Delta. She is employed by Red River Lumber Co.
The groom is a graduate of the University of Texas at Dallas with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. He is an insurance agent with Farmers Insurance.
After a wedding trip to Negril, Jamaica, the couple will live in Little Rock.
