When you have to be away from home and can’t take the family dog, JMC Puppy Park wants to be your pet’s home away from home.

“Our slogan is, ‘Where your dogs can play while you’re away,’” said Jessica Curley, owner. “Our No. 1 goal is to provide an atmosphere that is as close to home as possible.”

While staying at JMC Puppy Park, your canine pal will be taken to the park’s large play areas four times a day to run and play. While the dog is out and about, the trained staff will clean up his suite, provide fresh water and prepare meals.

“We want people to feel at ease when they board their dog with us,” she said. “They should feel confident that their loved one is in a safe, nurturing environment.”

JMC Puppy Park provides Diamond brand dog food at no additional charge, but Curley recommends bringing your dog’s normal food because changing a dog’s diet can upset his stomach.

The park also offers day care and bathing, which includes a shampoo, cream rinse, blow dry, nail trim and ear cleaning.

Curley added that getting to know their guests is the most important part of what the staff does, because each dog is special and has different needs.

“We want to f ind out as much information as possible, specifically any known health concerns, normal feeding schedules and medication instructions if there are any,” she said. “Any extra information we have will help us to ensure that your pet gets the best care possible.”
