Experienced staff carries on company tradition

The oldest motorcycle and ATV shop in Conway, the Conway Cycle Shop provides quality service and repairs on motorcycles, ATVS and side-by-sides.

As a complete service shop with a large parts inventory, Conway Cycle offers service and repairs for many top brands, including Honda, Harley Davidson, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Yamaha and Polaris motorcycles, ATVS and side-by-sides. The shop keeps a large inventory of motorcycle and ATV tires, batteries, oils, filters and spark plugs. Conway Cycle offers cylinder boring, light welding, ultrasonic carburetor cleaning and more.

With more than 40 years of experience, owner Mark Handford knows a thing or two about motorcycle service and repair. The owner of the Conway Cycle Shop since 1984, Handford’s experience, combined with the experience of the three other staff members — Michael Whitehead, Stuart Toal and Tyler Cardon — makes Conway Cycle the go-to place for all repair and servicing needs.

Whitehead has been with the shop for more than 12 years. He contributes experience and knowledge, having attended the Motorcycle Mechanics Institute for 14 months in Phoenix, receiving top honors while there.

Toal is an 11-year employee of Conway Cycle who has more than 30 years of experience, while Cardon is a fiveyear employee who has six years total experience.

As for competitors in town, the shop works with them. Handford said the shop bores cylinders for several businesses, and they all buy parts from each other.

Customers are a top priority for Conway Cycle.

“We treat them like one of us,” Handford said. “We are honest and fair, and respect and appreciate them.”
