Halter’s Body Shop Inc. has been growing with Faulkner County for more than 45 years.

Ferdinand W. Halter founded the business in 1966 with a two-car stall located in Bill & Gene’s Auto Clinic in Conway. He built the business on the philosophy that “good work is not cheap and cheap work is not good.”

Halter moved the business from the original lot in October 1968 to its present location on Museum Road.

The body shop offers auto body repair ser vices and works with customers should they need help negotiatin­g a claim with their insurance companies.

The business grew by word of mouth based not only on excellent work and service, but because of Halter’s strong sense of integrity.

Ferdinand’s son, David Halter, manages the business and maintains the same ethic and philosophy.

“Satisfying our customers is the most important goal we have,” David said.

The business now has 17 employees and three buildings consisting of 27,000 square feet.

David, along with two of Ferdinand’s three daughters, are part of a team working to make customers’ experience­s with Halter’s Body Shop good ones.

“We want your vehicle properly repaired and for you to be completely satisfied with your repair job,” David said. “It’s your car. Make sure it’s repaired to your satisfacti­on.”

The shop is dedicated to working with the most up-to-date equipment needed to fix today’s vehicles, keeping technician­s’ skills current with ongoing training, striving to meet the standards of top-quality paint and repair work and improving the collision repair industry.
