A ‘one-stop shop’ for farm, hardware, home supplies

Feed and supply stores provide a service to communities everywhere. They not only offer most things residents need to keep their home and farm running, but they also provide the expertise and knowledge to make the right decisions to keep them running successfully.

Circle L Feed and Hardware, located in Quitman, is one of those stores that plays an important role in the area.

“We try to be a one-stop shop for everything needed for your farm or home, lawn, garden and [even] your pets,” said owner Mike Lagasse.

Products include a full line of feed for all animals, including Nutrena Premium horse, cattle and pet feed; animal health supplies; lawn and garden supplies; bulk garden seed; fencing materials; post, wire, gates and panels; welding supplies; electrical and plumbing supplies; Stafix electric fence materials; and more.

The knowledgeable staff offers many years of experience to help with customers’ needs, including Lagasse, who has more than 25 years under his belt, and others on staff who have several years in the business.

“We strive to be very knowledgeable about all of our products and customers can get their questions answered in a friendly, professional manner,” Lagasse said.

Circle L Feed and Hardware opened in 1999 and is still going strong. The staff is appreciative of the customers who have helped keep the store’s doors open over the years.

“We really appreciate all of our customers and friends who continue to shop locally,” Lagasse said. “The only reason we are here is because of their loyal support and we hope to continue to grow and add new products every week.”

Hours are 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.
