While springtime sees more tornados than other times of the year, the destructive weather can come along just about any time. To keep their family sheltered from the dangerous forces of extreme winds in a storm, many turn to Ultra Safe Tornado Shelters in Greenbrier.

“[We are] the only manufacturer of round above-ground storm shelters in the United States,” said owner Scotty Poole.

Storm shelters help save lives, reduce injuries and relieve anxiety, so it’s important that they are designed well. The business’ shelters have been tested to withstand strong winds produced by tornadoes by the Texas Tech University Wind Sciences Laboratory, which has technologically advanced research facilities to test shelters.

The staff at Ultra Safe Tornado Shelter know a thing or two — there are six members of the staff who have more than 47 years of combined experience.

The business offers tornado shelters for customers, which are installed by trained staff members in pre-existing structures or in new construction. Shelters come in box and round models in a variety of sizes. Additionally, the company can do custom fabrication for safe rooms in the house. Installation is included with the purchase of a shelter or safe room. Check out www.ultrasafetornadoshelter.biz for more information about shelters and prices.
