- Damascus 501-335-7260

Matt Mcmahan is the owner of Mcmahan Enterprises in Damascus, which offers a number of services to its customers. Mcmahan started the business four-and-a-half years ago by selling Top Hat trailers.

Established in 1983, Top Hat is known throughout the United States for high quality, top- of-the-line trailers. The company manufactures everything from 4-foot-by 8-foot single-axle trailers to 48foot float trailers with 24,000 pounds of capacity.

“Whether you’re pulling your ATV or a load of cattle, Top Hat has a trailer that can meet your needs and your budget,” Mcmahan said.

Last August, Mcmahan Enterprises expanded its business to include animal feed. The shop carries feed from Powell, which makes feed for cattle, swine, fish, dogs, horses, poultry and more. Mcmahan Enterprises also carries Kent Feed for beef and dairy cattle, deer, pigs, horses and more.

“We carry something for everything,” he said.

Mcmahan said he started his own business because he wanted to be his own boss and build relationships with his customers. He takes time to visit with everyone and works to make sure everyone is happy with his service and prices.

“I want them to feel like part of the family,” he said. “I like to make sure everyone is taken care of and happy.”

Mcmahan runs the business with the help of his wife Kortney, their daughter Karley and his mother, Theresa.
