Camden man, 29, held in sex assault
CAMDEN — Police arrested a Camden man Tuesday on a charge of first-degree sexual assault after a report that a Camden Fairview High School teacher had a sexual relationship with a student, a news release said.
Cody Lee Martin, 29, appeared in Ouachita County Circuit Court on Tuesday and was held afterward in the Ouachita County jail in lieu of $50,000 bond.
The investigation is ongoing, the news release said.
The Camden News had previously reported that Superintendent Robert Davis confirmed that a teacher had been suspended with pay over allegations of an inappropriate relationship.
