Cities should stay out

If the Rogers and Springdale mayors did not sponsor the events, why were each promoted as the “Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast”? Why were members of the city staff so involved in selling tickets and other promotions? I wrote a strong letter to the Rogers mayor, emphasizing my belief that it was unconstitutional for city officials to involve themselves in matters that should clearly separate the activities of church and state. I have no objection to church pastors organizing and promoting a prayer breakfast. I do oppose involvement of government. ROD GREIG
