Carolyn and T. Richard Smith of Sherwood celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a family cruise to the Caribbean. The couple were married May 11, 1962. She is the former Carolyn Ison. He is retired from Union Pacific Railroad. They are the parents of Kimberly Smith of Cabot, Kayla Anousakes of North Little Rock and Karen Fraley of Sherwood. The couple have six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
HELENA-WEST HELENA — Anna Mae and Steve Cooke will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. The couple were married May 20, 1962. She is the former Anna Mae Steinbeck. He is a retired farmer. They are the parents of Stephenie Cooke of Conway and Karen Cooke Schwantz of HelenaWest Helena. The couple have two grandchildren.
Freda and Vernon Harness of Little Rock celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with an outdoor celebration at their home hosted by their children. The couple were married May 9, 1952. She is the former Freda Deuerling and is retired from Democrat Printing and Lithographic. He is the retired owner of Harness Auto Parts stores in Little Rock and Sweet Home. They are the parents of Mary Thomas, Rose Anne Smith and Tom Harness, all of Little Rock; David Harness and Larry Harness, both of Buckville; Jerry Harness of Gravel Ridge; and Tim Harness of Vilonia. The couple have 21 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and one great-greatgrandchild.
