Days of our Lives: The captives in the safe house survived when they found a trapdoor that allowed them to escape the worst of the explosion, a turn of events that Bo, Hope, John and Marlena hoped they could use against Stefano, who now thought they were dead. That meant Roman had to tell all their loved ones that there were no survivors. Will was on the verge of coming out to his father when Lucas mentioned that he was giving Sami another chance, causing Will to shut down. Lexie told her loved ones she was passing on further medical treatment in favor of taking advantage of whatever time she had left. Stefano threw the book at Agent Harmon for blowing up the safe house, claiming he never wanted those people killed. Carrie told Marlena she and Rafe had decided to take a chance on each other, but Marlena warned her she had a tough road ahead. Shane confided in Billie about what really happened at the safe house, then later Roman escorted close family members to a reunion with the “dead’’ victims. Peeved with Sami, Will blurted out to her that he shot EJ all those years ago, leaving Sami stunned that Lucas had taken the rap and

never told her the truth.

Later, a regretful Jack told Nikki that not even friendship was possible between them because of Kyle’s animosity toward her. After Phyllis noticed some blood spotting, she and Nick rushed to the hospital, but tests confirmed that both she and the baby were fine. At Gloworm, a drunken Tucker poured out his frustrations with Ashley to Harmony, who drove him home. Once there, he hugged her, then began to make love to her, but they were interrupted by a shocked Ashley, who fled as Tucker tried to blurt out apologies. Nikki was livid when she came upon Victor and Sharon enjoying a romantic champagne dinner together. When Jill spotted Genevieve with Cane in the park, Jill reminded Gen that she should stay out of Cane’s life for his sake, but the discussion turned into a heated debate over each other’s mothering skills before deteriorating into a catfight in the mud.
