Vows were exchanged on the lodge’s stone patio. Lanterns decorated with sunflowers, hypericum berries, Queen Anne’s lace and seeded eucalyptus marked the aisle. A tree created using the same flowers was placed at the head of the patio.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an Aline organza gown with a strapless sweetheart bodice. The waist of the asymmetrically draped skirt was embellished with handmade flowers and Swarovski crystals. She carried a bouquet of roses and seeded eucalyptus.

They wore halter-style appletinicolored cocktail dresses with top stitched detail on the straps and full pleated skirts. Their bouquets were filled with sunflowers, hypericum berries and seeded eucalyptus.

Ben Higgins of Poplar Bluff, Mo., was his brother’s best man. Groomsmen were Zach Pate and Pug Pate, both of Little Rock.

A reception at the lodge’s Cedar Creek followed the ceremony. Vintage mercury glass vases, filled with sunflowers, berries, purple statice, Queen Anne’s lace and seeded eucalyptus were placed on silver trays surrounded by mercury glass pumpkins and pine cones. Old iron lanterns and candelabra decorated with the same flowers centered guest tables. Outside, guest tables were decorated with barn wood trays and mercury glass vases of sunflowers with pine cones and pumpkins. Assisting were Mary Jane and Maggie Riggan.

The bride has a bachelor’s degree in early child education from Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, where she was on the dean’s and president’s lists. She is a teacher.
