CALL THE MIDWIFE In the series finale, Sister Monica Joan (Judy Parfitt) is found wandering the docks and returned to Nonnatus House by the police. Her adventure takes its toll on her health, and she develops pneumonia. After she recovers, she finds herself accused of theft. As her case progresses to trial, the community fears that the elderly nun could go to jail. Meanwhile, Chummy (Miranda Hart) is worried when her mother decides to make a trip to “inspect” her new beau.

7 p.m. _ ONCE UPON A TIME Jorge Garcia ( Lost) guest stars in this new episode as a vicious giant in possession of a magic compass that could help Emma and Mary Margaret (Jennifer Morrison, Ginnifer Goodwin) get back to Storybrook­e. To get her hands on it, however, Emma must follow Captain Hook (Colin O’Donoghue) up a beanstalk to the giant’s lair. Lana Parrilla and Josh Dallas also star in “Tallahasse­e.”

8:30 p.m. + THE GOOD WIFE Alicia (Julianna Margulies) represents a soldier (Amanda Peet) who’s accusing a contractor of trying to rape her. His attorney (Brian Dennehy) is claiming the man is protected by a law prohibitin­g service members from suing the military — even though he’s a civilian. Peter (Chris Noth) encounters a new obstacle in the new episode “The Art of War,” which was directed by series star Josh Charles.

7 p.m. ^ ANTIQUES ROADSHOW The new episode “Junk in the Trunk 2” features never-before-seen appraisals from the show’s Season 16 tour through El Paso, Atlanta, Minneapoli­s and more.

Included are a Missouri Regiment Colt pistol worth more than $22,000; sapphire and diamonds from Tiffany; and Dr. Seuss’ signature.

REVOLUTION Charlie (Tracy Spiridakos) encounters a boy whose past reminds her of her own, and she tries to persuade Miles (Billy Burke) to help her reach out to him and his friends. Rachel (Elizabeth Mitchell) meets someone from her own past that has her growing tired of Monroe (David Lyons) in the new episode “The Children’s Crusade.” Zak Orth and Giancarlo Esposito also star.

CASTLE Beckett and Castle (Stana Katic, Nathan Fillion) immerse themselves in the world of science-fiction fandom when they investigat­e a murder at a sci-fi convention. And what a world it is — lots of costumes, big egos and plenty of drama. Armin Shimerman, a familiar face to Star Trek fans from his role in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, guest stars in the new episode “The Final Frontier.”

EMILY OWENS, M.D. Emily (Mamie Gummer) learns how much the nurses dislike her when one of them gives her a difficult case as payback. After coming clean with Will (Justin Hartley) about her feelings, Emily tells him she’s already interested in someone else. A secret that Emily knows about the chief could be the key to getting a patient treated. Michael Rady also stars in “Emily and ... The Alan Zolman Incident.”

NOVA The new episode “Mystery of

Easter Island” explores recent claims that challenge decades of previous thinking about the former Easter Islanders and how they built those giant stone statues. Among the radical new theories is that they used ropes to “walk” the statues upright, and “NOVA” puts this theory to the test using a 15ton replica statue.

SUBURGATOR­Y With Dalia (Carly Chaikin) distracted by her father’s relationsh­ip, Kimantha, Kenzie and Kaitlyn (Abbie Cobb, Kara Pacitto, Katelyn Pacitto) turn to Tessa and Lisa (Jane Levy, Allie Grant). Later, her dad’s elopement has Dalia needing support, which she seeks from Evan (Sam Lerner). An intimate encounter with Dallas (Cheryl Hines) isn’t what George (Jeremy Sisto) expected in the new episode “Foam Finger.” Alan Tudyk also stars.

9 p.m. + CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGAT­ION As if his granddaugh­ter’s kidnapping last season weren’t enough, Russell (Ted Danson) is confronted with another case that’s close to his heart when his son (Brandon W. Jones) becomes a suspect in the murder of his college basketball coach. Peri Gilpin ( Frasier) returns as Russell’s wife in the new episode “Pick and Roll.” Elisabeth Shue and Paul Guilfoyle also star.

8 p.m. _ GREY’S ANATOMY Although they’re no longer working together, Meredith and Cristina (Ellen Pompeo, Sandra Oh) continue to support each other as they deal with the aftermath of the plane crash and their growing profession­al responsibi­lities. Meredith works a case that hits close to home, while Cristina assists with a difficult heart surgery in

the new episode “Beautiful Doom.”

8 p.m. F BEAUTY AND THE BEAST Newspaper exposure causes trouble on two different fronts in this new episode. Cat and Tess (Kristin Kreuk, Nina Lisandrell­o) investigat­e when a woman goes missing after her fiance puts her engagement announceme­nt in the paper. Vincent (Jay Ryan) also gets his picture in print after being caught on video stopping a robbery. Cat shares a surprising moment with Evan (Max Brown) at her birthday party in “Saturn Returns.”

8:31 p.m. $ PARKS AND RECREATION Jonathan Banks and Glenne Headly guest star as Ben’s (Adam Scott) divorced parents, who are about to meet a very nervous Leslie (Amy Poehler) for the first time. Jean-Ralphio (Ben Schwartz) helps Tom (Aziz Ansari) prepare his business pitch for Ron (Nick Offerman). Chris (Rob Lowe) deals with complicate­d emotions in the new episode “Ben’s Parents.” Aubrey Plaza and Rashida Jones also star.

UNDERCOVER BOSS Inquiring minds want to know: Will he dress like one of his waitresses? Tilted Kilt, the business featured in this new episode, is a Celtic-themed restaurant and pub chain that’s been called “Hooters with a Scottish twist,” with female servers in short skirts — plaid, of course — and midriff-baring tops. Ron Lynch, president of the chain, is in the hot seat as he tries out a variety of jobs on the

front lines.

SHARK TANK Comedy writer Bruce Vilanch appears in this new episode to help an entreprene­ur pitch his idea for a virtual classroom to teach technology to baby boomers. Also in the tank are a California­n with a motorized vehicle suit, two women pitching a line of sugar-free candy chips and a man who’s developed a search engine targeting real estate. An inventor who was initially rejected by the Sharks but later won one over provides an update on his business.

NIKITA Owen (Devon Sawa) manages to escape from a Russian prison without the help of a rogue Division agent (Sarah Allen) dispatched by Amanda (Melinda Clarke) to spring him. He reconnects with Nikita (Maggie Q) and is surprised to discover she’s now with Division. Michael and Ryan (Shane West, Noah Bean) aren’t sure they can trust Owen, but Nikita stands by him in the new episode “Consequenc­es.”

9 p.m. ^ THE MIND OF A CHEF Billed as a new kind of travel/cooking show, “one that feeds the gut and the mind,” this series is narrated by Anthony Bourdain and attempts to make the connection­s between food and nature, science, music, art, sports, history and just about anything else that chef David Chang can stir up. In the first four episodes, Chang savors the sublime pleasures of pork, explores everything ramen, visits Spain and takes a nostalgic trip to Tokyo.
