BENTON — Erma and Preston Bridges celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary Saturday at the home of their daughter Lisa Bridges of Benton. The couple were married Nov. 1, 1952. She is the former Erma Keylon and owner of Affordable Travel. He is the retired owner of KEKO and KAKI radio stations. They are also the parents of Randy Bridges of Benton and have five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
HAZEN — Ray and Maggie Roach celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary. The couple were married Oct. 25, 1942. She is the former Maggie Williams. They are the parents of Jimmy Roach of Hazen and Jackie Roach of Lonoke. The couple have five grandchildren and five greatgrandchildren.
BEEBE — Naomi and Tommy Kyzer celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. The couple were married Oct. 26, 1962. She is the former Naomi Pruitt. Both are retired from CDI Contractors in Little Rock. They are the parents of Tommy Kyzer of Acworth, Ga.; Stacy Chappell of Atoka, Okla.; and Chris Kyzer of Centerton. The couple have six grandchildren.
BENTON — Sarah and Wayne Marcussen have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. The couple were married Sept. 14, 1962. She is the former Sarah Cruce and a retired elementary school teacher from Watson Chapel School District, Pine Bluff. He is a retired material manager for Varco Metal Buildings in Pine Bluff. They are the parents of Kim Archibald of Bryant and have one grandchild.
BRYANT — Linda and Gerry Mathis will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Park Place Baptist Church. The couple were married Nov. 4, 1962. She is the former Linda Johnson and retired from First Commercial Bank. He is retired from Southwestern Bell. They are the parents of Teri Kerr, Mark Mathis and Michelle Harrison. The couple have six grandchildren.
