BRADFORD — Elizabeth Jetta Mae and Duie Lee Louis Talley will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary. The couple were married Dec. 21, 1947. She is the former Elizabeth Williams. He is a retired boilermaker from Webco Construction and Kopaz Construction. They are the parents of Betty Turner of Bailey’s Crossroads, Va.; Brenda Dunn of Bradford; and Dianna Roller of Gassville. They have four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Virgil and Evelyn Daniel

PRESCOTT — Evelyn and Virgil “Spot” Daniel celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary with family at their home. The couple were married Dec. 10, 1947. She is the former Evelyn Chamlee. He is retired from Prescott Transfer Moving and Storage. They are the parents of Donna Daniel of Texarkana and Eddie Daniel of Prescott. The couple have two grandchildren.

Odiss and Frankie Nelson

Frankie and Odiss Nelson of Little Rock celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday with a reception in the ballroom of LaQuinta Inn and Suites. The couple were married Dec. 14, 1962. She is the former Frankie Nelson and a retired registered head nurse for the Eugene J. Towbin Healthcare Center, North Little Rock. He is a retired dialysis technician for the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. They are the parents of Cheryl Mickles and Angela Nelson-Bell, both of Little Rock.

Clyde and Mary Jo Horton

Mary Jo and Clyde Horton of Little Rock will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary Saturday with a family dinner at Olive Garden. The couple were married Dec. 21, 1952. She is the former Mary Jo Craig and a retired reading specialist with the Little Rock School District. He is a retired coach from Little Rock Central High School. They are the parents of Margo Rowe and Mark Horton, both of Little Rock, and Carol Kensel of Springfield, Mo. The couple have six grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren.

Doris and Bill Herring

Doris and Bill Herring of North Little Rock have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. The couple were married Dec. 14, 1962. She is the former Doris Dodd. Both are retired. They are the parents of Bill Herring Jr. of Overland Park, Kansas, and Russell Herring of Conway. The couple have two grandchildren.

STUTTGART — Billy and Elsie Norman recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married Nov. 22, 1962. She is the former Elsie M. Murray. He is retired from Riceland Foods Inc. They are the parents of Karen Heslep of Mountain Home and have two grandchildren.
