Teenager charged as adult in slaying
A 17-year-old male arrested Friday on a charge of capital murder in the July 9 death of a 71-year-old Jessieville man has formally been charged as an adult in the crime.
Robert William Glover Jr., who lists an address of 1516 Foxpass Cutoff in Garland County, had initially been held in the Garland County Juvenile Detention Facility after his arrest in the death of Dan Roberson, but he is now being held in the Garland County Detention Center in lieu of $250,000 bond.
Garland County sheriff’s investigators had said they anticipated Glover would be charged as an adult on the felony charge of capital murder, which is punishable by death or life in prison without parole. Glover made an initial appearance Monday in Garland County District Court.
Also charged with capital murder in the case is Ethan Patrick Sallee, 18, who lists an address of 113 Elbert Trail, Garland County, while a third suspect, Chestly Wayne Gaston, 21, of Jessieville, is still being sought and is believed to be in Texas.
According to the the Garland County sheriff’s office inmate roster, both Sallee and Glover are set to appear Aug. 20 in district court, but they will likely be held by Garland County Circuit Court before then.
A reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of Gaston. Anyone with information about his whereabouts can contact investigators at (501) 622-3690 or the department’s 24-hour, anonymous hotline at (501) 622-3674.
