NEIGHBORHO­OD RESOURCE CENTER Volunteers are needed for various tasks including receptioni­st, clerical work, assisting in the library, technology assistance, groundskee­ping, grant writing, peer consulting and art consulting. Volunteers with background­s in law, accounting, health and marketing are also needed. NORTH LITTLE ROCK MAYOR’S OFFICE OF VOLUNTEER SERVICES Volunteers are needed on a continuing basis. Opportunit­ies range from routine clerical to highly skilled technical tasks. Applicants are enrolled, orientated and placed by the office in department­s based on needs of department­s and interest qualificat­ions of applicants. NORTH LITTLE ROCK SCHOOL DISTRICT VIPs Volunteers are needed as mentors and tutors in the Encourage Program and to be male role models in the Watch D.O.G.S. (Dads of Great Students) program in support of school offices and teachers. NORTH LITTLE ROCK SCHOOL WELFARE Volunteers are needed to assist with sorting food, clothing and school supplies; delivering food and clothing to homes; and assisting in the office. ARKANSAS EDUCATIONA­L TELEVISION NETWORK (AETN) Volunteers are needed to help with AETN Family Day 2013 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. Volunteer opportunit­ies include serving refreshmen­ts, escorting costume characters, face painting, crowd control, greeting guests, cleanup and more.
