SUSAN MARIE LANTZ CHAD DANIEL MCPEAK
Susan Marie Lantz became the bride of Chad Daniel McPeak at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 31, in Remount Baptist Church, North Little Rock. The Rev. John Winters officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Betty Helen Lantz of Sherwood and Lindsey Bruce Lantz Jr. of North Little Rock. She is the granddaughter of Lindsey Bruce and the late Madeline S. Lantz of North Little Rock, and Ouida Beth and the late Arthur Harmon Bean of Russellville.
Parents of the groom are Beverly Lanell Shadle and Shelby Gene McPeak, both of North Little Rock. His grandparents are Eileen and Bob Davis and Opal and Charles Barker, all also of North Little Rock.
Candles and hydrangeas lined the chapel window sills. Hydrangeas also decorated pews and lined the stairs. Music was by pianist Mary Jane Martin.
The bride, given in marriage by her parents, wore a sleeveless white lace gown with a keyhole back and chapel-length train. She carried a bouquet of blue hydrangeas, million star baby’s breath and white lisianthus.
Matron of honor was Molly Detmer of North Little Rock. She wore a royal blue sleeveless chiffon dress and carried white hydrangeas, million star baby’s breath and white lisianthus.
Kinsley Reeves of Houston, niece of the groom, was flower girl.
Jeffery Daniel McPeak of North Little Rock, son of the bridegroom, was the best man and the ring bearer.
Guests were seated by Brian Lantz of Cabot, brother of bride, and Ryan McPeak of Maumelle, brother of the groom.
A reception in the church fellowship hall followed the ceremony. Assisting were Lucille Drake, Barbara Balentine, Juanice Ammons, Sarah Crowley, Cecily Long, Lydia Hinson and Deborah Lantz, sister of the bride.
The bride is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Central Arkansas in Conway, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in science. She is a graduate student at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in the regulatory science program and is employed as a government biologist.
The groom is a student at Central Baptist College in Conway, working toward a bachelor’s degree in leadership and ministry. He is a youth pastor and works in heating, ventilation and air conditioning.
The couple will live Maumelle.
