SUNDAY

7:20 p.m.

NFL FOOTBALL A clash of NFC West titans is on tap tonight in Seattle, where Russell Wilson and the Seahawks will welcome in Colin Kaepernick and the San Francisco 49ers. With a wild-card berth last year and a bevy of talent on both sides of the ball this year, the Seahawks have big expectations in 2013. So, too, do the defending conference champion Niners, just a year removed from their Cinderella-like run to Super Bowl XLVII with the youthful Kaepernick guiding them.

8 p.m. THE 2014 MISS AMERICA COMPETITION Chris Harrison ( The Bachelor) returns as host alongside Lara Spencer ( Good

Morning America) for this edition of one of television’s oldest competitive reality shows — which was around long before television. After the finalists are chosen and take part in one last round of competition, Miss America 2013, Mallory Hagan, crowns her successor.

9 p.m.

MASTERPIECE MYSTERY! In the “Foyle’s War, Series VII” premiere “The Eternity Ring,” Foyle (Michael Kitchen) returns from the States to find MI5 has assigned him to investigate the possibility of a Russian spy network operating in London that may have infiltrated British atomic research. LATINO AMERICANS Latinos have helped shape the United States over the past 500 years and have become its largest minority. 7 p.m.

MOVIE: IRON MAN 2 Robert Downey Jr. reprises the part of Tony Stark, who gets plentiful new use for his superpowered costume, in the Marvel Comics hero’s second live-action iteration for the big screen.
