Meeting explores U.S. 82 widening

CROSSETT — The Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department will hold a public meeting Thursday in Crossett to discuss plans to widen 5.5 miles of U.S. 82.

The work will be performed between Ashley County Road 411 and U.S. 425, east of Crossett.

The meeting will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. in the fellowship hall of Rolfe Chapel Freewill Baptist Church at 786 U.S. 82 West in Crossett.
