Goblins close out victory this time

HARRISON — Senior tailback Michael Evert topped 1,000 rushing yards for the season Friday night while leading Harrison to a 48-19 victory over Huntsville at F.S. Garrison Stadium.

The victory was only the third of the season for Harrison (37, 2-5 5 5A-West), which saw five close games slip away from them in the fourth quarter this season.

Evert had 18 carries for 87 yards and scored 2 touchdowns. Junior receiver Silas Huskey had 5 receptions for 110 yards and 1 touchdown.

Huntsville (2-8, 0-7) finished with just 130 total yards. Tailback Jacob Rodden ran for 96 yards and a touchdown. Quarterback Jakota Evans ran for the other two touchdowns for the Eagles.
