HOPE — Hope quarterback Nathan Stubber passed for three touchdowns and the Bobcats defense held Magnolia to one first down in the first half as Hope clinched a share of the 5A-South championship with a victory at Hammons Stadium.

The Bobcats (8-2, 6-1) polished off a regular season that will send them to the playoffs for the first time since 2007.

Magnolia (3-7, 2-5) had a 22-yard pass play from Kyron Sanders to Kile Pletcher on the first play of the game for its only first down of the half.
