WILLARD JUNIOR BAIR, age 83, of Jacksonvil­le, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 7, 2013. He was born March 20, 1930 in Ashland, Ky., to the late Sherman and Iva Bair. He retired from the United States Air Force in 1972 with over 20 years of service, he later went on to retire from the V.A. Hospital with of 33 years of service. Mr. Bair was a devoted family man who enjoyed woodworkin­g, fishing, and hunting. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.

He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Florence Blair; his daughters, Phyllis Bell, Deborah Penney, Cheryl McMurray and her husband, Larry, Iva Eckhardt and her husband, Randall, nine grandchild­ren, 12 great-grandchild­ren, and eight siblings.

Visitation will be from 2 until 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 10, 2013 at Moore’s Jacksonvil­le Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 11, 2013 at Moore’s Jacksonvil­le Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Park with military honors.

––––– ––––– FRANCES L. BELL, of North Little Rock, was born Dec. 1, 1919 in Lonoke County and passed away on Nov. 8, 2013 peacefully at her home. She is preceded in death by her husband, T.R. Bell; her daughter, Marion Hughes; and five brothers and four sisters.

She was the owner and operator of La Bell Beauty Shop in North Little Rock for many years and a longtime member of Somers Avenue Church of Christ in North Little Rock. She was very active in her church working and volunteeri­ng and very well known for her pies at the church potlucks.

She is survived by her daughter, Janette Hughes of North Little Rock and a sister, Lora Lock of Michigan, as well as six grandchild­ren and eight great-grandchild­ren. In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alzheimer’s Arkansas.

––––– ––––– EMMA LOU PEEL CLARKE, 89, died Nov. 6, 2013. She was the daughter of Oscar Allen Peel and Ruth Blair Peel. Born on Dec. 14, 1923 in the Blackfork community in Faulkner County, she was the middle sister in a family of seven girls (Odell, Orene, Hetty, Emma, Bonnie, Patty, Carolyn). She graduated from Greenbrier High School in 1943. She was employed by Southweste­rn Bell Telephone and retired in 1979 after 27 years of service. Emma married Jack Charles Clarke on Aug. 5, 1949. They celebrated their 64th anniversar­y on Aug. 5, 2013. She was a member of Park Hill Baptist Church, a life member of the Telephone Pioneers, a life member of the Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary, and a past president of the Silver Charter chapter of the ABWA.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Odell, Orene, and Patty. She is survived by her husband, Jack Charles Clarke and three sons, David Wade, wife Becky; Anthony Clarke (Tony), wife Lisa; and Jack Clarke Jr. (Jackie), wife Sheri. She was “Meme” to her seven grandchild­ren Mary (husband Kaavin Scaccia), Heather, Sarah, Jack III, Camryn, Colin, Derek). She also had two great-grandchild­ren (Sophie, Bella).

––––– ––––– PAUL DAULTON passed away Thursday, Nov. 7, 2013, at home. Paul was born to Gilbert and Elizabeth Daulton on Dec. 4, 1944, in Paragould, Ark. Paul graduated from Hall High School in Little Rock. Paul was an amateur radio operator for over 50 years – his call was K5WMS. He loved to build and restore radios.

Paul is survived by his wife, Glenda; daughter, Gina Daulton; sister, Jenifer (Jim) Marsh; sister-in-law, Pearlie Daulton; and a host of nieces and nephews.

––––– ––––– PERRY RAY MANN, 52, of Little Rock passed away on Nov. 7, 2013. He was born on May 3, 1961, to the late Ray Joe and Melba Inez Mann. Perry was a 1979 graduate of Bryant High School where he was voted most handsome. He was an accomplish­ed singer, musician and cabinet builder; he also had a passion for shooting 22 Bench Rest Rim Fire and was the Internatio­nal Champion in 1995. His most precious times were spent with his family and friends.

Perry is preceded in death by his parents and the mother of his children, Mary Mann.

He is survived by his two loving sons, Kody Mann (Chelsea) and Aaron Mann (Sara); father, George “Joe” Perryman (Faye); three sisters, Pam Cochran, Regina Mann and Leslie Nichols (Mike); brother, Eric Perryman (Kelle); grandchild­ren, Rayleigh, Lawson, Dakota, Aaron, Aidan and Karter; loving companion of 14 years, Dorothy Coleman and her two sons, Nicholas and Eric (Alisha), and a host of family and friends who all loved him and will miss him dearly.

––––– ––––– RUBY JEAN EZELL MOONEY, 87, of Little Rock died Nov. 6, 2013, with her children at her side.

She was born Dec. 27, 1925, in Thornburg, Ark., (Perry County) to Robert W. and Ruby Lee (Zornes) Ezell. Jean graduated from Little Rock High School in 1945. She met the love of her life, Harry Augustine Mooney, while both worked for Union National Bank. They were married for 57 years until his death in 2004.

She is survived by her two children, Henry “Gus” Mooney of Little Rock and Carol (Jerry) Cassil of Bryant; two grandsons, Aaron (Amber) Davis of Benton and Jordan (Rachel) Davis of Bryant; four great-grandchild­ren; a nephew, William (Paula) Mooney of Little Italy; a great niece and nephew and a host of other relatives and friends.

Preceded by her parents, Joe and Nealie Beck; four sisters, May, Ellen, Jo Elmer, Josie; three brothers, Clinton, Loil, Clifton Beck; one son, David Ogle; two grandchild­ren, Kenneth (Kenny) Jr. Ogle, Emily Blaine Ogle.

She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Ben Ogle of Mabelvale, Ark.; two sons, Kenneth (Wanda) Ogle of Greenbrier, Ark., Ronald (Sharon) Ogle of Mabelvale, Ark.; one daughter, Joyce (Bill) Glover of Dyess, Ark.; nine grandchild­ren; 20 great-grandchild­ren; four great-great-grandchild­ren.

She was a faithful member of Chicot Road Baptist Church until her health failed. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmothe­r, great-grandmothe­r and a very independen­t woman.

He was a member of the Mabelvale Church of Christ and graduated from Harding University with an Honors Degree in Business Management. David loved his family and treasured the time he spent with them. He was generous and kindhearte­d and will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his sister, Nancy and her husband, Lew May; and his nephew, Patrick.

––––– ––––– MICHAEL ALLEN THOMAS, Jacksonvil­le, died peacefully Nov. 6, 2013. He was born Jan. 13, 1942, in Athens, Ala. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Daphne; and his three children, Teraysa (Howard) Webb, Stacey (Gary) McMichael and Jennifer Thomas; one granddaugh­ter, Arianna Thomas. He also leaves behind three brothers, a sister, and several nieces and nephews.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Idell Thomas and son-in-law, Jimmie White II.

Michael enlisted in the Air Force after graduating high school. He traveled the world and spent two tours in Vietnam. Amongst his many awards were a Distinguis­hed Flying Cross, four air medals, and the Air Force Commendati­on medal. After retiring from the Air Force, he obtained his degree at UALR and worked at the post office until he retired in 2002. He loved woodworkin­g and playing golf.

Our family sends a special thank you to Dr. Stan Kellar and staff. Mike not only considered Dr. Kellar a gifted physician, but a brother in Christ.
