LACEY NICHOLE PERRIN MATTHEW MARTIN PARKER
Dr. Lacey Nichole Perrin and Dr. Matthew Martin Parker were united in marriage at 5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 1, in Episcopal Chapel of the Transfiguration at Camp Mitchell on Petit Jean Mountain, Morrilton. The Rev. Ron Foster officiated.
Parents of the bride are Joyce Toliver and the late Charles Perrin, both of Murfreesboro. She is the granddaughter of the late Lorene and Mitchell Chandler, and the late Inez Kay, all of Murfreesboro, and the late Earl Perrin of Hot Springs.
The groom is the son of Karen and Pete Parker of North Little Rock and the grandson of the late Barbara and William Martin of Jackson, Tenn., and the late Christine and Paul Parker of North Little Rock.
The outdoor chapel was decorated with arrangements of white roses and glass vases filled with floating candles. Large ferns were on each side of the chapel entryway. Music was by classical guitarist Jay Shepard.
The bride was escorted by her brothers, David Perrin of Murfreesboro and Jason Perrin of Arkadelphia. She wore a strapless organza and tulle mermaid-style gown by Jim Hjelm with an ivory Alencon lace bodice and chapel train. She carried a bouquet of pink peonies, black privet berries, dahlias, grapevine and cotton blossoms.
Dr. Alison Green of Jonesboro was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Lisa Green of Little Rock; Jessica Franklin of Hood River, Ore.; Dr. Deidre McAuley of Fayetteville; Christina Parker of Chicago, sister of the groom; Dr. Beth Shipman of Tampa, Fla.; and Dr. Danielle Bell Staggs of Memphis. They wore dresses in soft shades of taupe and gray in the style of their choice and carried bouquets of baby’s breath.
Dr. Wesley Fiser of Arlington, Va., was best man. Groomsmen were Dr. Cross Dudney of Nashville, Tenn.; Dr. Burdge Green of Little Rock; Dr. Jay Heulitt of Jackson, Miss.; Dr. Bradley Hyman of Santa Maria, Calif.; Brian Reeves of Breckenridge, Colo.; and Jonathan Unwer of Fayetteville.
A reception at Petit Jean State Park Visitor’s Center followed the ceremony. Tables were covered with gray tablecloths and monogrammed table runners and were centered with tall iron lanterns surrounded by pink and peach roses, moss, cotton blossoms and white pumpkins.
The bride graduated summa cum laude from the University of Central Arkansas Honors College in Conway with a bachelor’s degree in nutritional science. She was a member of Sigma Kappa. She received a medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and is an anesthesiology resident at UAMS.
The groom graduated summa cum laude from Texas A&M University in College Station with a bachelor’s degree in biomedical science. He was a member of Phi Kappa Phi and served on the executive committee and as chairman of philanthropy. He received a medical degree with honors from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and was a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. He is an emergency medicine resident at UAMS.
The couple will make their home in Little Rock after a wedding trip to Costa Rica.
