TIFFANY LEAH VERKLER MICHAEL SCOTT HEAD II

Tiffany Leah Verkler became the bride of Michael Scott Head II at 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, by the waterfall at Lake Bailey in Petit Jean State Park, Morrilton. Paul Winsey of Tampa, Fla., officiated.

Parents of the bride are Lynda and Eddie Verkler of Black Rock. Her grandparen­ts are J.B. and the late Garnet Vance and the late Imogene and Wave Ed Verkler Jr., all also of Black Rock.

Yvonne and Scott Head, 5705 Countrysid­e Drive, are the parents of the groom. His grandparen­ts are ElFriede and Kermit Benson and Peggy and the late Wilbur Head, all of El Dorado.

An aisle was marked with shepherd’s hooks holding Mason jars filled with chrysanthe­mums, pompoms, alstroemer­ia and daisies in bright orange, lime, yellow, white and purple.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an ivory luxe taffeta gown with a full A-line skirt that extended to a chapel train. Her ruched bodice had a sweetheart neckline and a beaded sash at the waist. She carried a bouquet of daisies, chrysanthe­mums, roses and lilies with hypericum.

Ashley Cargill of Maumelle was maid of honor. Bridesmaid­s were Autumn Gillmore of Batesville, Melissa Stamps of Conway, Kendra Ridgeway of Cabot and Ashley Head of Little Rock, sister of the groom. They wore knee-length dresses in shades of orange and in the style of their choice, and carried bouquets of pompoms, chrysanthe­mums and daisies in orange and lime.

Flower girl and ring bearer were Morgan Braswell, niece of the bride, and Wave Simmons, nephew of the bride, both of Fayettevil­le.

Best man was Benson Head of Little Rock, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Zac Hedrick of Conway and Chris Webb, Matt Shell and Donn Bishop, all of Little Rock.

Guests were seated by Charles Kittrell of Chandler, Ariz., and Stacey Simmons of Fayettevil­le.

A reception was held at the park’s Pavilion B and on its surroundin­g terrace. Tables were covered in ivory tablecloth­s and lace. Slices of cedar, pine and walnut from the bride’s family farm created platforms for Mason jars filled with chrysanthe­mums, alstroemer­ia and daisies. Music was by the Big Johnsons. Assisting were Tonya Kittrell of Chandler and Tarra Simmons of Fayettevil­le, sisters of the bride; Scott Townsend of Sherwood; Chase Fortenberr­y of Conway; and Michelle Head of Little Rock.

The bride is a cum laude graduate of the University of Central Arkansas in Conway and has a bachelor’s degree in mass communicat­ions. She is promotions supervisor for AETN in Conway.

The groom is a cum laude graduate of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and has a bachelor’s degree in business. He was recognized as an outstandin­g business graduate and is employed as a Microsoft alliance champion at Hewlett-Packard in Conway.

After wedding trip to Mexico, the couple will reside in Conway.
