ALYSE CYNTHIA EADY PATRICK JEFFREY LEMMOND
Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church was the setting at 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, for the marriage of Alyse Cynthia Eady and Patrick Jeffrey Lemmond. The Rev. Britt Skarda officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Lady and Lewis Eady of Fort Smith. She is the granddaughter of Mae Lillian Martin of Texarkana and Juanita and Elzie Eady of Marvell.
Parents of the groom are Carol Ann Lemmond and Stephan Lemmond, both of Richardson, Texas. His grandparents are Betty McIllveene and the late Charles McIllveene, also of Richardson, and Reeta and Tom Towle of Eureka Springs.
The chancel held an elevated allwhite arrangement of hydrangeas, Dutch stock, snapdragons, roses and Asiatic lilies. Music was by soloist Kirt Thomas and organist Jim Maase.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an ivory silk-crepe long-sleeved gown with an overlay of handmade silk lace. The bodice had a sweetheart neckline edged with scalloped lace and clusters of crystals and ivory pearls at the back. Her silk-tulle cathedral-length veil was embellished with handmade lace. She carried a cascade of white hydrangeas, roses, tulips and phalaenopsis orchids.
Matron of honor was Molly Little of Houston. Bridesmaids were Cortnie DeVore of Hot Springs; Claire Buffie of New York; Bethany Toney of McKinney, Texas; Stefanie Bryant of Little Rock; Haley Ray of Denton, Texas; Pauli Mayfield of Ames, Iowa; Catherine Raines-Sims of Rochester, Minn.; and Jayson Toney of Fort Smith.
The attendants wore pewter-colored silk chiffon gowns. Some had ruched strapless sweetheart bodices and slightly pleated skirts and others had one-shoulder gowns with a floral detail on the single strap and layered chiffon skirts. They carried bouquets of white hydrangeas.
Flower girls were Kate Glover of Conway and Hannah Eady of Madison, Ala., cousin of the bride. Ring bearer was Robert Jackson of Fort Smith.
Matthew Lemmond of Carrollton, Texas, served as his brother’s best man. Groomsmen were Clay Evans of Austin, Texas; Percy Dyson of Rowlett, Texas; Drew Baker and Blake Lockwood, both of Little Rock; Cody Matthews of Louisville, Ky.; and Heath Cariker of Jackson, Miss.
Guests were seated by Martin Eady of Little Rock and Scott Eady of Fort Smith, brothers of the bride; Bryant Renfro of Springdale; and Mark Cain, also of Little Rock. Guests were greeted by Craig O’Neill and Tom Brannon, both of Little Rock.
A reception at the Albert Pike Hotel followed the ceremony. Guest tables held a variety of white arrangements that included hydrangeas, lilies, roses, stock, evergreens and white branches. The buffet table held a large elevated arrangement of white wedding flowers.
The bride, who was Miss Arkansas in 2010, has bachelor’s degrees in mass communication and speech communication from Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia. She is a news anchor at KTHV-TV, Channel 11.
The groom has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from OBU and is an accountant with Crowe Horwath.
After a wedding trip to Mexico, the couple will make their home in Little Rock.
