Kellerman brings enthusiasm, experience to real estate career
MAUMELLE — Coldwell Banker RPM welcomes Kara Kellerman to the sales team at the company’s Maumelle office, located at 105 Country Club Parkway.
Kellerman, who has lived in Maumelle for more than two decades, is new to real estate but said she looks forward to putting her talents to work as a Realtor.
“I genuinely love helping others. I can’t explain how much I get out of devoting my time and help to people,” she said. “I absolutely love meeting someone who was a stranger but, within a short amount of time, becomes a dear friend. That is an unbeatable feeling.”
Before embarking upon her new career in real estate, Kellerman worked as a web producer and assignment-desk manager for a local news station.
“This job prepared me for so much without me realizing it,” Kellerman said.
“I handled two websites, two Twitters, and two Facebooks. I learned to get a message across in a clear and concise way,” she said. “This helps me in real estate because I can relay a message to my customers in the same clear and concise way, and I am able to market homes online while being creative and confident.”
Kellerman also gained customer-service experience and realized a love for working with people while serving as a receptionist for a veterinary clinic.
While being a Realtor may be new for Kellerman, she is no stranger to the real estate field — both of her parents work for Coldwell Banker RPM in Maumelle.
“Everyone says real estate runs in our family,” Kellerman said, adding that her parents encouraged her to become a Realtor. “I have always been told I need to go into sales because I can connect with all walks of people.”
Being available for her clients and building a relationship of trust and integrity are important to Kellerman. She is a member of the National Association of Realtors, the Arkansas Realtors Association and the North Pulaski Board of Realtors.
