Senior Center pancake breakfast set for Dec. 6

CONWAY — The 34th annual Pancake Breakfast, Silent Auction and Bake Sale sponsored by the Faulkner County Senior Citizens Program will be held from 7 a.m. to noon Dec. 6 at the Ola & John Hawks Senior Wellness and Activity Center, 705 E. Siebenmorgen Road.

The meal will include allyou-can-eat pancakes, sausage, juice, coffee and milk. Last year, more than 2,000 pancakes were served. Tickets are $7 for adults and $3 for children 12 and younger. Tickets may be purchased at the center, from any board member or at the door. Carry-out meals will be available.

A Sweet Shoppe will include pies, cakes, breads, cookies and candies, and a silent auction will be held in conjunction with the breakfast.

This is the program’s biggest fundraiser of the year, said Debra Robinson, executive director of the program. She said all proceeds will benefit the six senior centers in Faulkner County.
